WHO WE ARE
ABC Contracting is an innovative Construction Management firm with over 45 years of combined professional training and building construction experience. Our company was formed to create a presence of superiority in the Construction industry. Collectively we have managed, planned, or constructed over 300 projects to date, of all sizes ranging from single family residential to commercial multi- purpose centers up to 40 million dollars in cost.

ABC Contracting in conjunction with Gilbert Development developed the district known as The Market at Orleans (Downtown Beaumont). ABC Contracting oversaw over $1.2 million in renovations to the former McCrory building (695 Orleans St. Beaumont, TX 77701) transforming it into a multi-purpose special events center. ABC also oversaw construction in this district including Mystros Barber Academy (a state licensed barber school) and Café Orleans (a full-service restaurant).
More recently ABC Contracting has completed an array of different projects for the Beaumont Housing Authority – commercial and residential. Currently ABC is one of the approved contractors in the Hurricane Rita Recovery Program administered by the Community Development Block Grant Program. Also, ABC was the lead contracting firm involved in rehabilitation Oakwood Apartment Homes formerly known as Lincoln Terrace a 150-unit apartment complex damaged by Hurricane Rita.

What We Offer
Construction Documents:
This phase plays a vital role and is considered approximately 60% of the negotiated contract fee for contract services. All information gathered from the initial three phases will be compiled to produce working drawings, which are generated via computers, using computer- aided drafting software. The documents produced will be used to bid, permit, and construct from, so it is important that all information be contained within this phase.

Bidding and Negotiations:
If a client chooses to use the traditional method of project execution, whereby the documents are sent out to competitively bid and price the project, this phase is a very important phase of the professional service. The contract documents will be issued to builders chosen by the owner who then will send back a total contract building price. This process is factored within the scheduling of the project and requires coordination and reproduction fees to fully complete.

Permitting and ADA Approval:
This phase of the project plays a vital role in the progress and continuation of the project’s viability. City and State governing agencies require that all projects be permitted for building purposes before construction can begin. This is a cumbersome but very important process that can take weeks, sometimes months to complete. It is important that all necessary information is applied for and issued by the client and designer, for this process to progress smoothly. Fees are incurred and generally are paid by the owner but can be negotiated within the initial contract making them the responsibility of the designer.
Construction Administration:
Concluding the lengthy process of all proceeding phases, this phase relates in conjunction with and during construction. Change orders, submittals, and pay request are generally handled during this phase. It is strictly the client’s responsibility to manage this phase of the project or request this service to be performed by our company.

Marketing proposals are very essential in today’s market in conveying intent.
